The pilot sport 3s had more lateral grip and straight line grip. Basically its a stickier tire. road noise was less in the pilot sport 3 but doesnt last that long. The Conti's were good but just not in the same league. They have a softer side wall than the pilot sport 3s where track enthusiast complained about and tend to be much louder as they howl more when they become more worn. Lets put it this way the pilot sport 3s were better for corning and more predictable. The conti's lack wet grip and were loud, so let leave them for more economical. They do last longer than the pilot sport 3s.

Is there a dealer ordering guide for European spec Mercedes CLA models such as the CLA180, CLA200 & CLA220?

I'll be more interested in a CLA220 diesel ordering guide. What are the chances we'll get a 2.2 turbodiesel CLA in america? VW has been brave enough to bring some diesels here, will Mercedes do it?

I think they should have a package with leather seats and bi-xenon headlights. Those are both premium features found in many luxury cars and Mercedes has them as separate options. Not impressed.

Does anyone have photographs of the illuminated door sills? Does it say Mercedes or does it say Mercedes CLA?

I just hate how quickly pricing can jump depending on what you want.

Leather seats at $1200 is quite a jump, but without it I won't feel like im in a true luxury car.

BTW here's my list :D

$33, 500 CLA 250 4Matic
+ $2,300 Multimedia Package
+ $1,480 Panorama Sunroof
+ $850 Bi-Xenon Headlamps (w/ integrated LED-DRL)
+ $326 Burl Walnut Wood Trim
+ $500 Heated Seats
+ $1200 Leather Upholstery
+ $720 Metallic Paint

thanks for this guide, I actually went in to the Mercedes dealership and inquired about the CLA but they didn't disclose any information yet. The salesmen took my number down and will give me a call once there is any information on whether I can put my name down on the list or come in for a test drive.
