This is so true, and in almost any 4 cylinder car you WILL get more sound coming from the engine, even road noise is more noticeable.

OF course though, a car like the Verano which was focused on being quiet, will be quiet.

It makes sense to have more noise travel back in to the cabin with more rigid cars but i really question the sound deadening material in the CLA vs the C class and maybe even the E.

It's been years since I've driven a C-Class. Can't remember much about the interior sound reduction...
