Love all the Mercedes CLA specs but I think it being FWD is killing it, although mercedes does have another small sedan that is RWD, the C-Class.
The CLA 250 4Matic will be all wheel drive.
The CLA 250 4Matic will be all wheel drive.
what's the ratio? FWD biased for sure
any references that the CLA will forsure be front wheel drive biased? or are we all guessing...
Haldex system: 100% front, up to 50% goes to rear when front slips.

Haldex spin slow motion

Its amazing because they use this system in both the Bugatti Veyron and Lamborghini Aventador.

The Adventador uses a FWD based AWD system? Are you sure about that? Or is there a RWD bias Haldex?
sorry I mean it uses a Haldex system but which is rear wheel biased.
us oil capacity for cla 250

im wondering how many qts of oil the cla 250 will hold.

That's an odd question. Any reason why you're so concerned with that?
im more curious than anything. the more oil it holds the cooler and fresher it remains. if you look at some of the v6s they hold almost or about 10qts.

Hmmm.... Too much oil can have a huge negative impact on fuel economy. Certainly you want to make sure you have enough oil in the crank case to lubricate all the necessary components but having more oil than you need also produces drag on moving parts, especially the crank shaft. Ever try to run in water? I had a 3.0L V6 that was good for over 300,000 miles that only needed 5 quarts. My wife's 3.5L V6 needs 6 quarts. 10 quarts for a V6? I don't know.
no no no. i do not mean over filling. check it out many benz have had about 10 qts (usa) as requirement. thats why some had a 10,000 plus oil change recommendation. so.... im still wondering , just for curiosity , what the capacity is on the 4 cylinder cl250 is. im guessing about 6 qts but im just guessing.:)
it'll likely mention in the owners manual. something none of us have.
i looked up c250 specs. seemed to say that that engine with filter holds 8 qts. so..............im guessing the cla 250 will be the same.;)
