Even though the CLA's baseline started low, the huge lift for the CLA resulted in 7,600 incremental shoppers. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class continues to draft off the CLA's success with a 50 percent lift on Monday.
The commercial is approaching 6 million views on YouTube as of Thursday morning.
The 2014 Kia Sorento is repeating the success the Kia Optima had last year by following a similar strategy. Sorento is running a week-long homepage takeover and new landing takeover on Edmunds the day after the game to sustain interest generated by the Korean automaker's Super Bowl commercial. Tying offline with online advertising is a smart move and seems to be paying off with Sorento's 88 percent lift on Monday.
The 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe is currently ranked 3rd for consideration lift at 61 percent.
Although Chrysler's 2013 Super Bowl commercials generated a lot of buzz, they did not result in lifts on Edmunds.
