Expected to make its debut later this year as a 2016 model, the C-Class convertible will likely share powerplants with its sedan counterpart with similar styling and options. That means the drop-top C-Class will come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 241 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. There will also be a 3.0-liter V6 option with 329 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.
