Update. So far I've driven with the Carlsson C-Tronic unit for about 150 miles and with the exception of a minor and quickly resolved glitch I'm loving it. I felt the difference right away. The power comes on quicker than stock and seems to have less lag when I step on the gas. If I go easy on the gas pedal the fuel economy is about the same but it's very hard to hold back and not hammering it because it's so much fun. Install is very easy and quick. Performance delivers as promised. Highly recommended.

Yes sometimes the unit can come in contact with the inside of the hood. As per Carlsson's recommendation (in the instructions), you may have to clearance the hood. Here we used a piece of wood and a rubber mallet, it doesn't take much as the hood is aluminum. Thanks and have a great Holiday Weekend!
