Mercedes-Benz has a 8,000 square meter exhibition space over three levels to show off all its glory at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show. Benz will have 70 cars on display, but the real interesting ones are the world premieres.

Wow, I love how the whole setup looks, hopefully this will be the standard setup at car shows around the world that mercedes plans on attending, especially the setup in the first picture!

This must be one of the biggest car shows for Mercedes since it is in their home country. That light up floor is pretty awesome. Really the whole set up is really cool. I get so jealous of the people who get to travel around to all of these auto shows. How do I get that job?

Love the whole display. All the colors and lay out really match the blue efficiency theme they are going for. Looking forward to seeing the videos of the exhibit. Wish I was there.

I imagine that the American car companies will get more space at the American car shows. The Germans seem to be getting more space at the German car show. I mean not every company can use that much space. It is a lot of space for just one company!

I don't think the country of origin of the car company has anything to do with how much space the convention center assigns space. It is how much the car company is willing to pay for the space and how many cars that company is willing to transport.

Isn't it easier to transport cars if the car show is in the same country your HQ is. I know that cars are made all over the world, but there must be something easier about going to a show close to home rather that on the other side of the planet.

If you're interested in selling your cars around the world then you need to show them around the world... no matter where it's make or where the HQ is.

They always go nuts at the IAA. When I was there in 2009, it was similar to this one, maybe even more over-the-top.

Nope, I haven't seen one in the metal yet and I fear it's far too cramped in the back for us. I may get a B 250 one day but for now our fleet of cars is good enough.

Never been to one of these big car shows, but i'd love to go. I just read about them online, but being there for one of the big concept car unveilings would be so much fun.

I've been to the NYC International Auto Show many times and it is overwhelming. There are even demos outdoors.
