well, after close to a year wait, my cla250 4matic has hit the us and im hoping it will be here within a week.i chose to have the standard 17 inch tires after a test drive on the 18 inch which was just too stiff for me. mb changed the supension on mine from sport to comfort. im hoping and believe that that will really help the ride. i just got a used 2009 cayman so im sure the mb will feel very "fluffy" compared to that.:) i will give a full report as soon as the "red baron" arrives

finally got it a couple of days ago. here is my very quick evaluation.this is a much better car (for me) than most of the tests indicate. almost all those tests were done with 18s and sport suspension. mine came with all seasons, 17s and ,by far most importantly, comfort suspension. handls great. varies from a little noisy ofver bumps to ghostly silent on smooth surfaces. on my way back to nashville from the dealership 20 miles away got 30mpg without even trying. i cannot emphasize enough that this is a much maligned car that has been greatly underated. not the testers fault, its just that the sportsuspension with 18s is TOO stiff for most of us.

Congrats. I'm still waiting for mine (ETA to dealer Oct) :(

I think your setup's great. It's a 250. It's more luxury than sporty, so why ruin the ride when it's not got enough power anyways? I never understood people putting large rims and smears of tires in cars that aren't sports cars to begin with.
