I bought a brand new 2015 CLA250 just 6 months ago and have loved every minute of it....until a few days ago.

I was leaving work earlier this week and I park my car in the same spot every day. I put it in R to back out of my spot and I immediately feel the car moving forward instead of backwards! I stopped the car, and turned off the engine and tried again...same thing!! I wasn't parked on a hill, it's a completely flat parking lot and it kept moving forward while in R! Eventually my front tires were hitting the curb and the front of my car was in the bushes in front of me. Thank GOODNESS I wasn't parked in front of another car!

I immediately called MB Service and they transferred me to MB Roadside Assistance where after 3 hours a tow truck came to tow my car to the dealer. I got a call from MB the next day telling me that absolutely nothing was wrong with my car and it was working just fine! I felt like a crazy person! Has anyone else experienced this??

Nope. I remember I'm not a fan of the gear shift stalk. I seem to remember sometimes the park is slow, so I end up pushing it in a couple of times (I don't drive the 250 but the 45 which has an electric shifter in the center). Maybe some dirt got in the base of the shaft and was causing crossed signals. They might've fixed the issue just by taking it apart to look at, or just waiting and letting the dirt settle.
