cla 250e charger flap won't pop open

Hi All,
out of the blue the charger flap won't pop open when you push it to click it out to open it. It's like it's not being unlocked perhaps as part of the central locking.
Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. Happened this week. Any ideas anyone?
