I think when Mercedes was making the CLA 45 AMg they had in mind to make an exhaust system to be semi aggressive to suit those who might not want to spend the extra money on an aftermarket exhaust. So it would meet the stand of those who want to enjoy the CLA 45 AMG right out of the box.
