Mercedes is scurrying into alternative powered vehicles, recent news indicates a plan for large scale expansion of Hybrid tech throughout the Mercedes lineup.

Mercedes hasn't revealed many details about its hybrid system but they did say it will be compatible with 4 cyls and V6s in both petrol and diesel setup.

The first new hybrid will be the S-Class Plug in Hybrid, but expect a hybrid system to show up in the A-class, CLA and GLA.

how many of you would go for a CLA hyb?

Back seat leg room has already been brought up as an issue in reviews I have seen, and i know that batteries are often stored around where the back seat is which decreases leg room. I'm not sure if I want a car that no one can sit in the back seat in. At that point I could just buy a 2 seater instead.
I would be interested in the CLA hybrid. Gas prices are only going to do one thing.. go up....

good point, although it could be possible in the CLA to have the batteries under the rear seat and under the floor in the trunk. If they get spread out it could reduce the leg room issue (although the CLA has poor leg room to begin with), but im not sure if thats possible to do..
Id like to see a CLA hybrid.

Wouldn't buy one but I think it would be a good addition.

Why wouldn't you buy one?
I would buy a CLA hybrid...but I would expect a high power output at minimal increased cost to match the Infiniti Q50 hybrid. And the financing would have to be great too -- BMW offers incredibly low lease and finance rates on the ActiveHybrid 3 Series.

don't care for hybrids. I don't drive enough for the gas savings to be a worry to me.

I prefer a full petrol engine.
