Hey guys.

I just paid my deposit on the cla 45 AMG.

Thanks to all the awesome articles online about the car it sold me.

The American people on here are lucky. They are expecting the cla to be about $100,000 in aus. Still a lot cheaper than the c63 at close to $200,000

Just wondering if there are any other Aussies on here that have also paid deposit and if anyone has

Detailed pricing for aus

Awesome! Glad to know we'll have some CLA45 AMG owners just as the CLA45 AMG goes on sale. How much was the deposit you guys put down?

If you could post links to the articles that made you want to buy a CLA45 AMG, post them here! It just might push others to finally put down a deposit on one.

$2000 for the deposit.

First delivery wasn't going to be until December so I asked for a 2014 build. I've been told to expect a March 2014 delivery.

Can't handle the wait!

Heh guys

I paid $1,000.

They hadnt given me a date as yet.

I think the 2014 build us a good call but.

Going to be such an amazing car.

I can't post every article here. I think I have read close to 50 haha.

Everyone is positive and the price is just too good to say no.

Get on board.

Lets keep all up to date here.

Any info on options and so on would be great to share here

Going to be nice to have all the 45 AMG owners in here for 2014.

It's going to be an awesome car. It has all the right ingredients.

Hi, secured the only CLA45 AMG in my area (local dealer's allocation is 1x)! Order is for non-metallic white with 19" black rims, standard alloy trim as opposed to carbon, and plain seatbelts instead of the red ones. Sadly, as it is their only allocation for at least 3- 6 months, not a great deal of discounting offered but at least they looked after me on the trade. Now the waiting game begins.

Not getting a great discount is expected especially when you want to be the very first to get a specific car, once you get behind the wheel of the CLA AMG, you'll forget about the poor discount ;)

What vehicle are you trading in for a CLA?

ikslee,
Best wishes to you. It was smart of you to get on board early. I think a lot of people here in the US are going to be surprised at what an allotment system is, and what it will do to them.

Not only that, but the wait it will possibly be to get a CLA. Usually on hot cars like this if you don't get in on the pre-orders or at least the first big batch of them, waiting for the second and third round usually takes some time. Waiting SUCKS!

Ikslee, we have some things in common. I have ordered one in white with black rims, and am also defecting from BMW. I am sticking with the red seatbelts and ordering carbon fibre trim however. I am am trading my E92 M3, and although I love it, 6.9 litres/100 km instead of 12.9 for similar performance is a big motivator. I will also miss the V8 sound and my digital TV, configured to play whilst car is in motion for the comfort of passengers of course! :)

That V8 sound from an M3 is bloody fantastic! I can live without the digital tv but for the life of me cannot understand why keyless entry/comfort access is not even available as an option on an AMG...wtf!!! Poor form from MB but not a deal breaker. Spoke with my dealer today and it's still on track for August build with expected October delivery.

i agree, features like that should be available on an AMG model, definitely not a deal breaker for people that want an AMG model as they get AMG's for all the major differences that come with an AMG.

Maybe they'll consider adding this stuff in future models?

Yeah from what I have heard. First Customer cars will arrive in nov. have anyone got any paperwork confirming their car will be here before then?

I think mine is 11/11 but dealer was confident it would come early
