Do you fit in the back of a Mercedes CLA?

They have "blind spot assist", as does the new B Class (which doesn't really need it).
How does the blind spot assist work in the CLA? Is it the same system like most where a light would light up in your side mirrors if the sensors in the blind spot detect a vehicle?
That's how it works on the B 250s that I test drove.
Isn't that how most blind spot assist features work these days with sensors.
That is how the assist works but some systems will go as far as to intervene your steering to steer you back into your lane if it detects a crash is imminent from your blind spot.
This is a much better angle. It doesn't look very spacious but not too tight. I wouldn't want to sit back there for too long. Only for short trips for adults.

This guy looks like he has little head or leg room. For a tall guy like me that would be a problem. Sure i would not be in the backseat that much, but if you are going to make a back seat, it would be nice if people could sit in it comfortably.
These are just some of the things they have to compromise when making a entry level compact. There just has to be a down side but this one is big.
I guess I won't be able to answer that question until I actually get to sit in one.
Legroom is ok, headroom though doesnt get good marks. I think 5'7 is the tallest that can fit back there without having a hard time...
Looks tiny .. hmm...
Its not as tiny as it seems, for some reason that guy has pulled the front seat all the way to the back...
I sat in one at the Spanish Autoshow earlier this year. I'm 5'9" & my head touches the roof if I sit-up straight. Legroom is similar to a C-Class.

Being over 6 feet myself, I couldn't imagine sitting in the back seat. It would feel like a clown car. Neither my legs nor my head would really fit. The shortest always go in the back, but generally I'm not impressed by this.
there are better cars for backseat leg and head room. The CLA is not one of these cars.
I think leg room will be fine, but no way will anyone over 6 feet tall will be comfortable with the headroom in the back
Unless they are lying down :D

Not without having to arch their heads forward and having a hump back like notre dame.

If I ever had too, for me at least it wouldn't be an issue since I am under 6 foot.

or unless they slouch but of course that won't be comfortable. i think Mercedes had plans to build a long wheel base model for china, might be possible they bring it here. it just might have a bit more headroom to seat those 6 foot tall people comfortably.
that is what you get for having a coupe like body.

people love the styling yet they don't like the rear head room. well somethings gotta give. I mean maybe Mercedes could have tried to lower the seat but then the sitting position wouldn't have been comfortable.
I heard that before where they just worked arouind a coupe design shell. But when it comes down to it of course your going to sacrifice some space for thsoe kinds of curves. Might have to do with trying to achieve such an drag co-efficient.
I think even for someone who is 6 foot tall if you dont sit straight up you might still fit. But it really depends how long your legs are and how tall the person in front of you is sitting.

It's definitely not idea. Just treat the CLA is a coupe with 4 doors.
