It would be great to have a code reader handy to see what engine code was thrown to get an idea. Did they present you with that at the dealership?
It would be great to have a code reader handy to see what engine code was thrown to get an idea. Did they present you with that at the dealership?Hi Joe,
1. I am in LA and yes we do have.
Here it is.
Lemon Laws
2. I am still driving the car with engine light on, so no loaner car so far.
3. No, the sales tried to convince me that's just a small program issue and won't cause any problem, I guess they are trying to stay down.
I read the thread that you mention yesterday, I just want to know what's the best way that people think to solve this problem.
Thanks for your response.
For all you know it could be just a faulty or dead sensor triggering the CEL. unless you feel like it's choking or anything difference in the throttle or even throw a backfire I wouldn;t worry about it too much. Well, until I get a proper code reading from the techs. No, they didn't.
I'm gong back to the dealer tomorrow and see if I can get the code.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of loaner you end up with if that. I would much rather go home with my CLADemand something expensive as a loaner @eslite.louis![]()
