I know. My point is that it is OK if you have FWD as long as you use winter tires during winter months. Since most people with FWD don't switch to winter tires, a FWD with winter tires will be just fine. So don't feel bad about not waiting for the 4Matic.

Right I agree, should be able to get by with FWD with snow tires but I just found the video a bit misleading by setting up AWD to fail with summer tires in the snow vs winter tires on FWD. The balance test is to have same set of tires and let FWD and AWD slug it out but they did sneak it in at the last minute and put winter tires on the AWD to be fair....
