Hi everyone, I’m hoping that one of you may be able to help me out. My fuel door was randomly opening on me and would only stay shut if I locked the doors but now it won’t open at all (not even with the manual release in the trunk). From searching online I see this is a common problem for CLAs and the solution has been the solenoid.
I’m wondering if anyone can provide me with some insight on how to replace it. If i remember correctly I believe when the fuel door opened it looked like it slid and locked into place?
Question 2, wondering on the best way to get the fuel door open since it won’t open on its own or with the manual release.
Question 3, I can’t seem to find a replacement part online, it’s fair to assume
It’s a dealer only option?
