Hi guys.
I dont know where to even start. I am from new york and I am having some issues with my CLA 45 amg. First off when I start the car and let it warm up to 5-8 min and start pulling out of my driveway, the steering makes loud knocking noises, making it feel as if my Differential is about to fly off.
2. When the car is most downshifting, the Tranny knocks extremely loud after every automated downshift as if the tranny is about to go bad. I know its a dual clutch and little noise is common but this is not normal.
3.I was driving, and suddenly my check engine light flashed while making a turn and the car shut off, making it impossible to steer aware from the curb. Which led my car to get off the curb and just sit on it. I was capable of reversing it back out and running away from the guy i almost hit. All this caused my bumper to get scratched and rip to get scrapped. I want Mercedes to replace this and not run this through my insurance as it was a mechanical issue.
4. my fuel gauge just dropped to zero the day after the incident and went back on after driving about a hr or so. A normal car restart didnt resolve the issue. Local mechanic said small evap leak on my car. I know its not the gas cap because I was running a full tank for days and only hit half way after initial fill.
I have a appointment this afternoon. Lets see what they say.
