Hi all,

Bought my CLA 180 automatic yesterday out of stock. I will receive it next Thursday. They said i'm one of the very first owners in The Netherlands with the 180 automatic. Mercedes had some problems with the emissions so the prices are only announced one week ago. It has the following options:

CLA 180 automatic(7G-DCT)
- Ambition
- AMG style
- Light and sight package

I ordered it with 16" wheels with winter tires. Got a good discount because of that and I want to put the OZ Superturismo Le Mans Graphites on it.

My previous car was a BMW 118d with the M sport package. I doubt the Mercedes will have better handling but I'm in love with the looks so I have to have one

In The Netherlands it also wasn't sure we would get the 180 7G-DCT. I'm glad we did because the car is actually a bit out of my budget

OZ Superturismo Le Mans Graphite 18"
So yeah finally got my wheels. Next project is gonna be the chrome stripes arround my windows. Gonna get the black ones from the night-package. Didn't get the night-package because I don't like black mirrors.

Hi Joe,

I’m really loving it! For some reason pictures cannot actually capture this car. I wash it every week with Meguiars Quick Detailer and once every 2 months with the Meguiars Wax Goldclass Carnauba Plus, so the paint always has this ‘watery’/wet-look. So every time I walk up to my car I’m like wow, is that mine?

What more can I tell.

First the bad news. My navigation has been stolen twice already. I actually cannot believe Mercedes made it so easy to steal. It takes literally 5 seconds to get it out of the car. So now I leave my navigation at home when I don’t need it, it’s easy to plug in so this is not really a burden. When I park my car at a place where I feel like this could be a spot for thieves, I leave the glovebox open with a letter in it that says with huge signs: ’NO NAVIGATION!!’. Sounds al silly but no more broken windows after I’m doing this.

Then all the good stuff. The car really is a headturner. I feel like driving a Porsche, that many people turn their heads around to get a good look at it.
Like 15 times already after parking my car some people ask me what type Mercedes it actually is and they complement me on how good a taste I have
Then the driving. The 180 petrol DCT is actually a little bit to slow, but for my driving style it is perfect. The best word to describe the ride is relax.
The interior also looks amazing. You get the feeling you drive a way more luxurious car then it actually is. To bad though the doors and the armrest are a bit noisy. Perhaps this also stands out because the rest of the car is so quiet.

Next year I’m going buy one new accessory, and those are the blacklists around the side windows(see first picture below). These are part of the night-package but I didn’t like the complete package. The reason I’m going to wait a while is because it’s going to give my car a complete new look from the side. So it’s more fun for me to do it when I have the car a while.

Then maybe after that I’m going to buy a new exhaust. I think the car will look great with 2 pipes on each side. The style I’m going to look for then you can see on the picture below.

If any one has any more questions about the car I’m glad to answer them.

Last thing. I actually went with my car to the Audi dealer to compare it with the Audi A3 Limousine Proline S and it is a close call. I’m glad that car wasn’t out yet when I bought mine because it would have been a tuff decision. The Benz would probably have won my vote but I’m not 100% sure

Short update. Next week I'm getting the AMG-carbon dashboard and the chrome window exterior moldings wil be replaced with the black ones out of the night package.
