Awesome! Looks like next week will be a great week for you guys. If your wife is getting a CLA, what are you going to be driving?
Would you guys ever consider getting the CLA 45 AMG?
Would you guys ever consider getting the CLA 45 AMG?
I believe right now there's only one CLA model. The AMG and 4MATIC models will come later.Which CLA model did you get?
I believe he said Monday. If its just waiting for shipment from GA, when will you get it in Charleston?
What a sweet ride....I'm lucky enough to be driving a black 2009 SLK 350.
She is getting the CLA 250, the only model available as of yet. Your salesperson can look it up and tell when it has been cleared for transport. How fast can the auto transport 18 wheelers go? Monday in Charleston.

I'm excited for you two, too. All 3 dealers I contacted before got back to me today saying they got them Saturday. I'm checking my calendar to see when I can go for a test drive. The wife's CLA is off the truck, arrived 45 minutes ago. It's in service for the pre-delivery inspection, cleaning, and whatever else they do.
Heading down there to do my inspection and to meet the little lady once she gets off work.
I don't know who is more excited, me or her.
Awesome!!!Just rode down to the dealership. Her CLA was in service for pre-delivery prep. Got to see every inch of it and am more impressed than I thought I would be. My biggest surprise? It's size. Longer and wider than I anticipated. Very comfortable throughout. Love the interior, except the TV-sized screen jutting out of the dash. Without being able to drive it, this is the only thing I didn't care for. Of course this is what every reviewer previously stated.
She will take delivery at 6pm and will be the first delivered in Charleston.
we expect nothing less. At least one of her in the driver's seat with the window down and thumbs up. .. too cheesy?Awesome!!!
You of course are going to share some pickup pics at 6:01pm?

Sounds good to me... we're in the age of more pictures online than real time in person.. so let's get lots of shots of the car.. and her.. and her in the car.. and the car moving.. and the car stopping. and her curves (the car's curves).. etc. etc. etc.we expect nothing less. At least one of her in the driver's seat with the window down and thumbs up. .. too cheesy?
Congratulations. If you don't mind me asking, what options/packages did you get and what did you pay? This will give us an idea of what we can expect. Her car was picked up. I even offered for her to drive my SLK with the top down but NOOOOOOOO. Drove it to eat Italian then home. She loves the steering response but the gear selection (drive, reverse, park) is going to take some getting used to. It's a stalk - push on the end to go into park, move stalk up to go into drive, stalk down to go into reverse.
She tired out the back seat and smacked her head getting in. Of course she is 6'.
More as gets to drive it further, like tomorrow to work. Maybe I'll get to drive it when she gets home.
Nice. Thanks for the info. She didn't want to pay for a bunch of stuff she will not use. She opted for the metallic paint and the black ash interior trim. That's it.
With the USAA fleet reduction, she ended up $1250 below MSRP. Don't expect any better. The dealer received 6 today with 5 being sold. They are booked solid tomorrow for test drives in the 6th car. They anticipate selling all they get as soon as they arrive.
I also think they will.
