I'm currently in the market for a used car and came across a 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA250 with a salvage title. The car has an engine size of 2.0L L4 DOHC 16V and is priced at $16,999. I'm considering purchasing the vehicle, but I'm hesitant due to its salvage title. I hope to get some opinions from the community about whether or not this is a good deal and if I should move forward with the purchase.
My primary concern is the salvage title. I know this can indicate that the car has been in a significant accident or suffered some other form of major damage. I'm also aware that, depending on the extent of the damage, the car may not be as safe or reliable as a non-salvage-titled car. However, I'm attracted to the price and the luxury brand of Mercedes Benz.
I wonder if any members have experience purchasing a car with a salvage title and can offer any insight or advice. Is it worth it to take the risk for a lower price? Or should I avoid this vehicle altogether?

Hello guys, here is my update on this one, thanks to all who are reading this thread, after careful research I found out via a Detailed Vehicle History report that my intended car has 3 owners and that's way too much for me, it has issues with mileage, and I do not know how many other issues that it is hiding, hence I have decided to make the purchase, feel free to leave a comment here.
