Mercedes-Benz CLA Long Wheelbase (LWB)

Not an ugly car, just ordinary.

I actually love how the long wheel basemodel looks. Main reason being the roof line. Since it is a longer vehicle the roof line is stretched out more. Can't wait to see full official pictures once it's ready for release.

Is that the china flag on the door skin?

So they only intend on making lwbs in china only?

I wonder how much the difference would be just to have a bit more leg room for the rear passengers.

Long wheel based vehicles as we see it only do well in certain countries and China is the main one. Looking at the length reminds me of a standard E class. But the only difference I would think is in the should room.

An LWB CLa won't be happening in north america that's for sure. If americans wanted more room they would just move up a class or a couple.

Is it common to transform entry level compacts in to long wheel base?

We are talking about only a foot or two difference. Is it really enough?
