The
Mercedes-Benz CLA is going to be a downsized CLS, as we saw in
our spy photos, and today we get to see a full image of the CSC(Concept Style Coupe), the concept that the car will be based on.
Thanks to leaked photos from
Germancarforum.com, we see that the new CLA shares much of its styling with the A-Class hot hatch. The nose and grille on this new small coupe is almost identical to the A-Class, save the back end which of course gets smooth lines into a trunk rather than a hatch. This new design language is slowly being adopted across the line of Mercedes-Benz cars.
The CLA, which may
be called the CLC, could also spawn an AMG variant. The base model CLA will likely come with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine making 211 hp, while the AMG will probably use a turbocharged four cylinder engine that will produce more than 335 hp, sourced from
the A25 AMG.
