Am I the only one who thinks that the fenders are too big for the CLA? Makes the rims look puny compared to the car.
In this case bigger wheels would be needed. The size of wheel seen here is ideal for tracking. For daily use i rather go bigger, bigger wheels will also look better with an aero kit as it makes the body look lower to the ground

I agree. I think that is why I am having such a hard time finding the right 17" wheels for snows. The car needs a set of wheels with a thin outer lip to emphasize the wheel spokes a little more--almost exaggerating them to make the wheels appear larger. Note that some of the MB accessory wheels lack outer lips to make them appear larger.

My current thinking is to use the existing OEM E1 wheels with 215/45/18 Michelin Xi3s. I haven't found another wheel design (OEM or otherwise) to suit the E1 look. Plus it will save me some dough. The dealer is already throwing in free mounting and balancing.

Are you buying these tires from the dealer? When they wouldn't budge under dealer cost for Mountain Grey paint I tried to get them to do the same if I bought and brought my own tires in, but they said they could only do it if I bought tires from them for OEM installation reasons.

I actually bought them on eBay and will bring over to dealer. Haven't decided now if to get separate non-OEM wheels. Scared I may damage the OEM E1s.

Thanks! Now, I have too many choices. Ugh. Thanks though!
