Mercedes CLA Canadian Canada Pricing/Price

What can we expect for Canadian entry price? Canadian market will get the CLA 250 to start. Would $32,900 be a good guess?

That price differential with the B250 would be hard to justify....unless they load it up with stuff the B250 and US CLA250 don't have.
Prices are always marked up in Canada. Sometimes an increase of 5k for some brands and models.

The Mercedes C-Class Sedan has a starting price of $35,330.00 in the US and $37,300.00 in Canada. The Coupe US price $37,300.00 and in Canada it is $40,800.

An increase of just over 2k for the CLA in Canada sounds about right.
Found an interesting article about US-Canada Price discrepancies. Looks like Canada is going to start investigating the matter. Hopefully some good changes for the Canadian consumer will follow.
The Canadian C Class comes with a couple of items that are optional in the US. In the B 250, it has 9 airbags in Canada; the US CLA has 7, and the rear sidebags are options. So if the Canadian CLA comes with 9 airbags, etc, well then a price premium will be easier to take.

I would be very surprised if they price this the same as the B250...

I think realistically it would be a little bit more.

I'm sure most people would want the sedan CLA250 over the B250.

What are your thoughts?
Both the CLA20 and B250 cater to different niches so even with some B250 owners switching sides, the B250 offers things the CLA250 doesn't
I dont think the canadian pricing would be too far each other. In some case it might even be cheaper to buy it from the U.S. but we could on speculate for now until the release.

don't hold your breath broski.... we've been at par for the longest time and yet still pay a premium on everything

Canada does pay a higher mark up for vehicles but compare to the UK and Europe **** those guys pay almost double of the canadian mark up. But yes sometimes i think it has to associate with the cost of living demographically too.

cost of living is a big thing, American's do get taxed a lot, same with canadians.

at least in europe they have models like the CLA180 which will be much more attainable than say a CLA 250.

That is one thing that drives the prices up on everything. The cost of a Mercedes CLA 180 is equivalent to the cost of a CLA 250 over in North America.
