When it takes some rock hits, you had better have some chrome touch up paint! Looks good in a showroom though.

I think it looks good but I agree that I am worried about rockchips and how that would effect the chrome over time.
is it really chrome or is it polished metal or something along those lines?

It's likely chrome dipped plastic.
I like the look of it but just like how mike t said im worried about rock chips damaging the finish on them over time. I really hope its not chrome dipped plastic which most likely it is.
