Mercedes-Benz CLA video drive review - Autoweek

With its good looks and midsize sedan price starting around $30,000, the new Mercedes-Benz CLA makes a solid pitch to a younger crowd.
We found the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 208 hp provided appropriate power for the coupe-shaped sedan, even though we wouldn't call its performance "lively." Only one engine is available; it works in tandem with a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The CLA is built on Mercedes' A-class small-car platform but offers midsize sedan exterior dimensions and interior space.
In addition to it's Gen-Y-focused price, the CLA introduces front-wheel drive to the luxury brand's lineup and delivers the type of interior technology a younger audience will require. Drivers will be able to access Facebook, Aha and Glympse apps by connecting their smartphone with the mbrace2 system. This is not the most ornate system we've experienced but it will allow the connectivity features young adults today crave.
We expect to see CLA models in showrooms this September.
Autoweek editor Mark Vaughn explores all the details in the video.
