Mercedes CLA rated #5 on Forbes Hottest Cars For 2014

The CLS-Class-inspired front-drive four-door coupe luxury sedan comes in at #5 on Forbes' 15 Hottest New Cars for 2014.
Noting the CLA's "swoopy roofline" and coefficient drag of 0.23, Forbes reiterates Mercedes' intentions of creating one of the most aerodynamic designs among production cars. The base CLA250 features a 208-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine while the CLA45 AMG boasts an exclusive 355-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo four.
Forbes also makes mention of the countless available high-tech amenities and the dual-clutch seven-speed semi-automatic transmission, with 4Matic AWD available in the 250 and standard with the 45 AMG.

so we got beat by a cherokee, jaguar, s class, and the stingray.

Are you surprised? Aside from maybe the Cherokee, those cars definitely deserve their place in that ranking.

I find it interesting that the Cherokee is on this list because it also made another list, the Worst Cars at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

I am glad to see the CLA is getting the attention it deserves though.
