Mercedes CLA45 AMG Revealed in PS4 Game Promo

A new racing game for the Sony PlayStation Four was announced yesterday, called Driveclub, and along with the new game comes the first (digital) image of the upcoming Mercedes CLA45 AMG.

The CLA45 will share most of its DNA with the recently announced A45 AMG, using a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine to put out 360 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque between 2250 and 5000 rpm. The small car will also use 4Matic all-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, the same as in the small A45.

Though the photo only shows the back end, the CLA45 looks typically AMG with dual-exhaust and a tweaked rear bumper.

Both the CLA45 AMG and A45 AMG will be featured in Driveclub, a new racing game which offers a “highly socially connected racing experience.”

The CLA45 will make its world debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show.

The game doesn't look too bad from the promo. I wonder how it will compare to the GT series. It seems like they are being very meticulous in ensuring the interior and exterior of the cars look real and accurate. Hopefully they go the Forza route and record the actual engine of those cars :p.

Sony also just let it slip that GT6 should be released by the end of this year for the PS3.
