1997 c280 has been great until one morning I started it and it ran for a minute or so then shut off. When I tried to start it again I had power and lights but nothing when key was turned to the start position. I have jumped the starter and it works but does not start the engine with key in run position. Move shifter to neutral and no crank. Wiggled shifter and no crank. Do not have a key FOB and have been opening car at trunk. Locks still work. Have had battery checked and it is great. I have been told to try bypassing the NSS next next to the transmission .... any thoughts would be great.
