Awesome! I think you're the first member on here that pre-ordered, or at least the first one that has made his/her pre-order public.

How much was the deposit if you had to put one down?

1000.00 dollars down. pre order. It is exciting.

Going to car ashow and since i pre ordered with Manhattan Mercedes they are giving me my own time with the car. it is going to be awesome. get to view it before everyone else.

I would be very happy if you could type out what is standard. Or take a photo of the preorder sheet and blank out your personal info with something.

BTW I would heavily reconsider the MB Tex and choose leather.

MB Tex has a bad reputation for not lasting very long and ripping.

Not bad at all, 1000 is just about what I was expecting.

If you don't mind, take some pic's and even a video to document it.
Would you be able to find out their future allocation on CLA's?

Really? 105K? Is this the price they quoted? That's way higher than what I have been reading. If it is true, I may be priced out of this car.

TGM, I am sure that the $100K quoted is a merely a place holder until the official 45 pricing guide is released.

Official 45 price is already released

That price was just slapped on to finish the paperwork.

cfrp, true, however, the official CLA45 order guide has not been released. The dealer based my options and prices on the CLA250 guide and using the $47,450 base price for the 45.

ernster, thanks for the list. I have a couple of questions. Instead of summer tires, do you know if you can opt for all seasons? Also, I don't see BSM listed as standard or an option. I believe it is available as a package on the CLA 250. Is it not available for the CLA45? Am I missing something?

not sure if all season tires are a good idea on an AMG model. I would opt for a performance summer tire and a good quality winter tire in the winter. Why do you want all season tires? They are not the jack of all trades. More like the jack of no trades.

I found it funny how the CLA amounted to over $100k, they might as well leave the price holder price that high to be on the safe side.

I would NEVER use all seasons tires on the AMG model, you get the AMG model for performance, and any true performance vehicle needs proper tires. In this case a nice set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tires would suit it well in warm dry weather.

And if you want to winter drive it, get a winter wheel setup

went to the dealership the other day

when i went through the orderering they didnt give me any option of tires, so summer performance it is.

BSM??? one of you asked if it is avaliable? what is it? i dont know.

The only thing that i added from when i ordered was the pano roof. The wife like the way it looked on the other mercedes in the showroom.

I will let you know of any other things that i hear.

Sorry, BSM is Blind Spot Monitoring. Usually there's a light in the side rear view mirrors that will light up if there's a car in your blind spot.

The piano roof looks pretty cool. I assume the piano color is black.

Lastly, is a power moon roof available? Sorry about all the questions. Thanks.

All season tires on a AMG model mercedes?

What was the point in buying the AMG?

All seasons have fair dry grip fair wet grip not very good snow and ice grip

A summer tire or performance tire will have excellent dry and wet grip
A winter tire will have excellent snow and ice grip.

I'd run the stock summer tires until you burn them to a crisp doing donuts in the parking lot and then switch the the Michilen Pilot Super Sports

they do have the BSM

BSM is avaliable in a package. I did not think i needed it for the extra money

also moonroof is avaliable i think. the whole roof sunroof is cool though
