I think BSM is included in option 234 Blind Spot Assist for $500 (based on the CLA 250 price guide). I have the active version which includes Lane Departure on my CLS and it has been quite useful. And for $500 on the CLA I included in my pre-order, albeit it is the passive version.

I think $500 for BSM is well worth it. Lane Departure Warning is good to have, too.

No Mercedes CLA45 AMG release date that i'm aware of for the U.S.A and the rest of North America. But I know for a fact that the U.K. is getting their CLA45 AMG's by September 2013.

Chances are we'll see the North American market CLA45 AMG around that same time, but it's some sort of confirmation from a reliable source.

November 2013 is the release date according to the MB at the NYIAS I attended a couple of weekends ago. CLA 250 will be available a bit sooner in September. The CLA 250 4Matic in Spring of 2014.

Strange that they are going to release the AMG model before the 4Matic models. So 4Matic buyers are going to have to wait till next year or be forced to buy the AMG.
