Putting an order for CLA45, deposit should be...?

Hi all,
Sorry if this is a noob question but I just stopped by a dealer in my area and wanted to put an order /get on waitlist for a CLA45. Gave them my configuration and all is set, then they want me to put a $2000 deposit. I told them I'd check around with other dealers in the area...

$2000 deposit for a CLA45 order is too much, I think?

That's a LOW deposit. Usually 2.5-5k. Remember, hand made engine. And unlike the M156 or M157, you can't put the 2 liter into another car.
