I took my 14' CLA in for its first service today and the dealer notified me that there were some software updates available so I told them to go ahead and get them taken care of. About half way through the service they came in to tell me the update completely disabled the car and they would contact MB to get a fix. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

A few weeks back I posted about my 2014 CLA250 going into limp mode twice for no reason (in traffic)

I mentioned to service about the forum and the collision sensor

Service verified all sensors were fine

Two days on the phone with the engineers in Germany and no one understood why

11 days later I picked up the car

While mine was there 4 more cars came on with same issue

Immediately after picking up my car I drove to a non Mercedes dealer and traded in my CLA

We were considering a SLK 350 for my wife but will no longer consider any Mercedes because of this issue

If I pulled out into traffic and the car died ...
