Researching some of the performance enhancements you can do on the CLA250, I came across a bunch of recent reviews on Vaeth's CLA250's ECU fine tuning/boosts.

Basically push your HP to 242HP or 261HP for $1270 or $6680 respectively. The $1270 seems reasonable but is it worth it for the boost?

Personally, I don't think the "Stage 2" is worth while for the $/whp bump.
I think we hold out, there will be other restrictions that would be removed to make a "stage 3" kit more reasonable.

I think fuel management i.e. fuel pump/injectors are being researched to see if the can be added into a kit with an ECU tune.

A base AMG makes more sense to me, and resale would be much better, I presume. Hard part is keeping the AMG event close to base price.

a base AMG is alot more power than this kit. But in the end it'll still cost more

But of course there is the added benefit of a warranty and service at dealers if anything goes wrong.

Thats what i got from this which IMO isn't worth it, such a small power bump for so much money, i would expect power close to this from a full exhaust system, headers and CAI.
