There are a lot of things that make the Mercedes-Benz CLA unique, and here are just a few examples.

The CLA will have the lowest drag coefficient, an aerodynamics measurement, for a production model ever at 0.23.

The CLA is also the first Mercedes to have front wheel drive for the US market.

In 2014 Mercedes will release a 4matic version of the CLA that will have all-wheel drive, and another more powerful twin-turbocharged engine will be released as well.

The fuel economy alone is a unique enough feature. Mercedes claims an average of 40.9 mpg for the A 45 AMG. The Mercedes CLA 45 AMG uses less fuel and emits less carbon dioxide than a 150PS Ford Fiesta. Hard to argue with the 165 g/km emissions figure too.

This alone will make it a big seller. A lot of people are dropping their V8's and even V6's for powerful but yet fuel efficient four cylinder vehicles.

Power and fuel efficiency all in one amazing car, can't beat that.

fuel efficiency could definitely be one of the reasons.

The styling is what attracts most at first I'd believe.
