What package are you getting for your CLA?

I was inspired by another thread talking about the Premium package. It got me wondering which package would be most popular for CLA buyers. You can also add what stand-alone options and accessories if you'd like.

I plan to get the premium 1 package and the sport package. This comes to about $4200 on top of base price.

I'm definitely going to get the CLA's Premium 1 Package (P01pkg).

I think it will be one of the most popular mercedes cla packages, things like: garage door opener, compass, auto dimming mirrors, ipod/mp3 media interface, satellite radio, dual zone climate control, harman kardon sound system & heated seats are VERY popular among the Benz crowd.

The multimedia is attractive.

And of course it would be nice if there was another package with leather seats and the sunroof and hid headlights.

All of them. The packages aren't even that expensive and all the features could be useful. If you are leasing why not get all of them including the standalones.

Luxury package!

It would be a great idea.

Panoramic roof
Bi xenon headlights
Leather seats

All three are luxury options and only available separately.

Is the panoramic roof standard on any of the models?

That's an awesome combination, I guess if your a luxury car junkie that loves all those over the top options, making your CLA luxurious as ever is the way to go.

I think the Panoramic roof is standard on the CLA45 AMG, can anyone confirm this? If it's not, i can see why, glass is heavy and add's weight that can kill performance: gas mileage, 0-60 time, 0-100 time, & 1/4 mile time.

None, every package doesn't really offer anything that appeals to me. At least, for the money they are asking for.

Except I'm a little confused by the Sport Package. Does the $2000 include the 4Matic system with better brakes and wheels? If yes, I would definitely get that.

The sport package is also available for the CLA250 model. It's just the brakes and wheels. The 4Matic system is not included.

Rumor is the 4Matic option will cost 3k on top.

You don't have to be a luxury junkie to want leather and bixenon lights.

Those are standard on most entry level luxury cars. And they are options on economy cars.

I don't think it is much to expect the two from a Mercedes - luxury brand.

You can get a Honda accord with xenon lights and leather seats.

The 45 press photos look like there is no sunroof/moon roof at all. Hopefully the Pano will be optional.

I don't think any of those who have preordered the CLA 45 AMG have mentioned anything about a sunroof or panoroof option.

Anyone planning to get the blindspot assist or the parktronic with active parking assist?

I personally haven't tried a Mercedes Park Assist, but I haven't heard the best reviews about it. It's something that originated on the S-Class vehicles and eventually to the E. The threads I've read about it, say most people don't even use it.

I think the blindspot assist works the same away, except the sensors are on the side, versus the front and back for the Parktronic.

I tried the active park assist in a B 250 loaner car. It's kind of fun to use but I know how to parallel park very well, so it'd be wasted on me.

Mercedes dealerships have their CLA catalogues now. You can now see all add-ons, options, and accessories that will come with the CLA. I can't wait to cusomize my CLA, but it will come with a hefty price tag for sure.

I knew something was missing, rain-sensing wipers would be a great feature to have, must be a good reason why they didn't include it in the CLA unless it's one of those things that will end up being added in future production years.

Usually the year after the original on-sale date quite a few new things get added.

I spotted the Mercedes CLA picture with the panoramic sunroof but yes most likely it will be an option.

The panoramic roof is a option. Not standard.
