What package are you getting for your CLA?

How many of you would get a panoramic roof on the CLA 45 AMG if it's available? Clearly there is a huge benefit to not having it (weight), but that all depends how serious you are about performance. Some people might not care about the loss in performance from a huge heavy glass roof.

I wouldn't want the panaramic roof. A regular sunroof is what I'd prefer.

It's nice to have as an option.

I agree it would add some weight to the car though.

P1, Pano, Bixenon, 18" Rims. That should keep me at $35K out the door although I might also add rear spoiler and black ash wood trim. Too bad the rearview camera is not a stand alone option.

Rain sensing wipers are standard on the CLA45. No Keyless go is offered.

Usually the year after the original on-sale date quite a few new things get added.

I just found a review that claims rain-sensing is standard. I hope the review is correct... See "roof and glass section" No Keyless-Go however.

while trying to customize the C class on mbusa.com to get an estimate of what customizing the CLA would be like it was required to pick the Premium package if i wanted the Sport package, does anyone know if it's actually required because personally i want the Sport package and not so much the premium and am trying to keep it under 35K

I don't think there is a Sport package for the CLA.

Oh, you meant the Sport Appearance Package. Sorry. I'm too focused on the CLA45 AMG and the Sport Appearance Package isn't available for that.

I would say you should be able to get the sport package. There is nothing conflicting with the premium. But honestly anything can happen.. Did you just like the exterior added bits of the sports package? You could always just buy them.

i spoke with a dealer the Mercedes Benz of Boston and he told me that it is necessary on the C class to have both the premium and sport and will be the same on the CLA but since it's so early he could be mistaken

Well if it's true I guess it's just another way to make money. Like I said you could also just buy the items separately if that is any cheaper. I'd buy the items online though - dealers would charge you an arm and a leg.

I don't understand your motives or exactly what you're asking us for. It sounds like you're asking us to tell you what you like, what you don't like, and how much you should spend. Really? I wouldn't want anyone telling me what to get or how to spend my money. I would rather make those decisions myself based on my own personal tastes and budget.

Hello i just wanted your opinion on my orderd car or if that you think i should add or remove something from the list...

if for example i really would benifit of the adaptive bi-xenon or if its a waste of money.. or if its is a good idea to add the rear trunk lip seen on a few pictures online.

maybe i posted in wrong topic or did something offensive wich wasnt my intend..

No, no. Not offensive at all. I guess I'm just a bit confused. Using your examples I will try to express my point. You asked about adaptive bi-xenon. Whether or not it is a waste of money is up to each individual. You can ask one person and he can say that is great and is willing to pay the price for it. Then you can ask someone else and they can say yes, it is better than the stock head lights but is not worth the price. Same with the trunk lip. Some people think it looks great and is worh the money, some can think it looks great but not worth the money, or another person can say it doesn't look good at all. It is like asking someone what color you should get the CLA in. It is all personal preference.

Your question is not offensive, it's just confusing as to why you would want anyone else to tell you how you should tailer your car. It's like asking someone who you should marry. Well, that's a bit extreme but you get my point... I think.

There isnt really that much "good" reviews out there in the cyberspace about it there is just loads of people complaning about the to small bagage compartment, this is not family car etc etc..

i have read almost every thread in this forum and there is still alot of split views about the car... so here is my decissions regarding the options. Now.. what thoughts do people have about it? should i spend less money on cool enhancements and more on engine etc etc.. im just trying to make this a conversation about a car that i hope we all like with a options list that actually exists on a car thats beeing deliverd (not anytime soon though by the looks of it) instead of people just writing "-in my cla i wanna have the sport breaks and big sound"

Well, since you're getting the CLA200, which is not offered in the US, then I have to assume you're in a different country... maybe one in Europe? If so then the options and packages may be different than what will be offered in the US. Personally I'm leaning towards the CLA45 AMG and will order it with the the Multimedia package and the Driver's assist package. As for storage room? I'm using it more as a sports car and not a family car so don't need a large trunk or back seats. I do have a family but we have other vehicles we can use to haul the family in along with strollers, toys, etc.

the cla45 amg is just at dream over here.. i live in Norway and the cost of that car here is not as high in bying.. the expensive part is owning it! :/ shitty system with loads of taxes and ****.
