At first I was going to get a black AMG. I mean, doesn't black seem like a good color for such an evil line of cars? But then I saw a white C63 with red calipers and looked at the CLA45 promo pictures some more and decided that it was quite nice too (and easier to keep clean) so I went with

18" wheels (I like these more than the multispoke 19")

I went with the 18" because of looks and the fact that even though this is an AMG, it is still going to be mostly a commuter car. AMGs are harsh enough as is without 19" wheels.
Premium mainly for the dual climate control (so no fighting) and ipod interface. h/k system's nice, but really, if I wanted to listen to the nuances of nice music, I'd do in indoors, not on the highway.
Multimedia for SD card drive and nav (especially after hearing how bad the Becker is), and the bigger screen too.
So not very sporty. But the CLA45 is sporty enough, and I do want some practicality with my car. Otherwise I'd have bought that mental C63.
Things I decidely didn't like were the rear spoiler (ruins the lines, and awkward black on white), night/carbon styling (too chinsy), AMG wheel (way too expensive for next to nothing, don't actually like feeling of the leather on the wheel), leather (will look 100 years old in 4), Recaros (no mood lighting in the seats, and regular seats are really nice to sit in), sunroof (makes car top heavy, less rigid, too ugly on the inside).
