Our friends down at Mercedes-Benz have released this video to explain to us laymen why the CLA is so aerodynamic. There are plenty of reasons, but here are a few: variable cooling air management, a low A-column, aerodynamic shape, serrated wheel spoiler, and aero-alloy wheels.

Great video for those who want to learn more about the CLA before making a buy decision.

I believe it, I can even feel the drag sometimes with the windows down and would even cause turbulence in the cabin. They really take in to account of how the car glides in the wind, something other manufacturers are not putting their focus on.

I'm glad that MB puts this much thought into its cars. I have heard that noise insulation is not so good in the cabin though, so I am not sure about the aerodynamics being that good for a quiet cabin. It has a big impact on fuel efficiency though, and that is a big enough plus for me.

its actually been proven that you can save more gas on long summer drives by having your windows rolled up and AC on rather than the other way around.

understanding drag can go a long way!
